We had some school students visit the firehouse today for a tour and to learn about firefighters. Thanks Sgt. Brian Raizor, Junior Firefighter Bradley Shuman, Firefighter Trent Edington, and Firefighter/EMT Logan Stalker for sharing with them. I think they had a good time.

Unfortunately, these structure fires have been more frequent lately. Thank goodness no one was living in the house at the time. So good to see such a great turnout from our career and volunteer personnel.

Shelbyville Fire and Rescue was privileged to host nationally renowned speaker and author Chief Rick Lasky on Saturday, January 21, 2017 as he presented his Pride and Ownership seminar. Firefighters throughout Shelby, Henry, and Nelson Counties were in attendance for this outstanding event.
